The Project

The District Education Support Centre supports the daily operations of the North Okanagan-Shuswap School District. It includes administrative offices, public reception areas, meeting and training rooms, collaborative workspaces, accessible washrooms, and extensive interior glazing that maximizes daylight. A refined palette of natural wood finishes, porcelain tile, acoustic wood-slat ceilings, and durable institutional materials creates a welcoming, professional environment.

SAGE’s Role

Working closely with the owner, architect, and consultant team, SAGE provided comprehensive interior design consulting including programming, space planning, finish selection and specifications, custom millwork design, interior glazing coordination, lighting coordination, accessible design, technical documentation, furniture coordination, and construction administration.
